Insomnia Cookies started with a group of college friends in the dorms looking for some late night snacks.
When the sun goes down, the insomniacs come out.
The founder created the company in 2003 doing late night food deliveries to cater to people like him, insomniacs.
Parents miss the moments they’ve had with their kids and feel they’re neglected from real life activities. Kids in this generation don't realize the opportunities given to them, and have a short attention span. They don’t realize that activities like baking with family could be enjoyable and fun.
A new application that is an extension of the Insomnia Cookie brand. This app will allow kids and families to make their own Insomnia Cookies, in a fun and enjoyable way. This will include video and manual tutorials, the opportunity to purchase baking kits, a social media aspect where they can display their creations, and occasional in-person events.
Tiff’s Treats is a privately held cookie manufacturing and delivery company. The company produces classic, baked-to-order cookies, and brownies.
What Works
- When placing an order, you can either choose a new order or repeat a previous order
- When placing an order, you can either choose yourself or to someone else
- Can track the delivery order
- Can choose the delivery date
What Doesn't Work
- The UI design is not that appealing, very simple.
- Does not have baking kits, just baked cookies/brownies delivered to your door
- Your address depends if you can order for a delivery (my location was not in delivery zones).

- User other app delivery
- Ask for tips automatically (additon)
When I want to eat cookies, I want to bake and decorate with mom and dad, so I can enjoy what I made and spend more time with my family.
When I get home after a long day at work, I want to try and find new/fun ways to spend time with my kids, so I can create a stronger emotional bond between us while also making an educational impact.
We believe that learning how to bake in a fun way with family at a young age will achieve the beginning of “soft skills” (communications, creativity, positive attitude, etc). We will know we are successful when we see a development of togetherness and setting traditions.
We believe that a personable connection between parents and their children will achieve an interactive way of learning that builds teamwork. We will know we are successful when we see trust created from real-life activities and experiences.
